The NGO dedicated to the binturong

Become a volunteer

If you are interested in binturongs and want to be a real part of protecting this endangered species, one way to help us is to volunteer. In this way, you will be able to commit yourself concretely to the protection of the environment, putting your time and skills to the benefit of binturongs.

So no more hesitation, take action by joining the ABConservation team!

Our actions are varied and so are our needs, so don't hesitate to contact us by e-mail at contact@abconservation.org for volunteer work in France and at contact.philippines@abconservation.org to volunteer in our projects in the Philippines.

"Becoming an ABConservation volunteer means becoming an actor in the protection of the binturong!"

Volunteering in France

From communication to requests for funding, educational activities or participation in nature festivals, ABConservation’s actions are diverse and we promise that there is something for everyone!

We are particularly looking for people for occasional missions:

  • Animators awareness-raising stands on binturong at one or more of our events from May to September (see events calendar - free training provided by team members beforehand).
  • Graphic designers to help us create posters, flyers, or any other communication visuals.

But also for a longer-term commitment:

  • Communications Volunteers: management of news, social networking pages, showcasing the association's events and achievements, etc.

For more information on our various missions, please don't hesitate to contact us!

How much does the membership cost?

If you would like to get even more involved in the association, you can become a member of ABConservation. Being a member in addition to being a volunteer, is to be invited to special events dedicated to our favorite animal, and get by mail and on our public and private social networks all the news about the binturong and the association. It is also about being the first to receive offers of volunteering and volunteer work to get more involved on the ground.  Finally, it is to be invited to express yourself during the General Assembly that takes place every two years, taking part in the vote during the election of the members of the board, and being a force of proposition for ongoing and future projects.
