The NGO dedicated to the binturong

World Binturong Day

This is a very special day! It allows the ABConservation team, our partners and all binturong lovers to celebrate and share our knowledge about this unique animal! We also take the opportunity to talk about environment, Nature, biodiversity, concrete actions, conservation and many other topics that we want to defend.

When does it take place?

World Binturong Day takes place every year on the 2nd Saturday of May.

It takes place every year on the second Saturday in May. This year the 11th edition (already !) will take place Saturday, May 10th, 2025. Last year, no fewer than 50 establishments from all over the world celebrated the day with us. In France, every year, ABConservation is present at La Menagerie du Jardin des Plantes de Paris for the organisation of this very special event. In the Philippines, the association organises activities in schools, universities and local communities throughout the month of May.
